Namib Desert And West Coast Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Windhoek

Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Short City tour late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Sossusvlei

Depart via Khomas Hochland and drive via Spreetshoogte mountain pass where you stop for good pictures. Enjoy light lunch in Solitaire and drive to Sesriem where you check in at your lodge. Relax and visit the Sesriem Canyon during the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sossusvlei

Early morning breakfast and depart to Sossusvlei. You will make several stops along the road to Sossusvlei for photos of the landscape and dunes. Visit Dead Vlei - where you have to do a short walking trail of about 1.2 kilometers through the sand. Climb the surrounding dunes and spend some time for pictures of the landscape. Visit Sossusvlei (where the river ends in the dunes).

Drive back to Dune 45 (the highest dune in the area) to climb it and take photos. Arrive back at Sesriem at noon for lunch. Afternoon at leisure until late and visit Crazy Dune for a sunset sundowner. Back at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Swakopmund

Today you will travel through the Namib Desert. Stop at the sign of the Tropic of Capricorn, Gaub Valley, Kuiseb Valley, and Dune 7. Arrive in Walvis Bay at noon. Lunch at a restaurant on the lagoon. Visit the lagoon area with thousands of birds and the Salt factories. Depart to Swakopmund via Long Beach to check in at your hotel early afternoon. Afternoon at leisure to visit city center shopping malls etc. Dinner at one of the many excellent seafood restaurants and overnight.

Day 5: Swakopmund

Today is activity day. You have a choice of many activities and your guide will assist you in doing all the bookings on day 4. Examples are boat cruises, quad bike tours in the dunes, Living desert tours, ballooning, kayaking, fishing, camel ride in the desert, and more.

Day 6: Windhoek

Spend the morning in Swakopmund to visit a few interesting places or on the beach. Depart after lunch to Windhoek and arrive before sunset. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Depart

Your guide will take you to the airport.

Included in the Price are the Following:
