Wildlife Safari takes you to some awesome places to see the best of Namibia's Wildlife. This tour will allow you to get as close as could be to the Big 5 and much other wildlife in private and government-owned National Parks. Elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, giraffe, zebra, springbuck, hartebeest, roan, kudu, dik-dik, steenbuck, impala, and much more will be seen on this unforgettable trip.

Every day will be a full day out in the bush with qualified guides for good photography too.

Parks to visit include Okapuka, Erindi, Cheetah Conservation and Rehabilitation Ranch, Waterberg Plateau Park, and Etosha National Park.

Day 1: Okapuka Private Game Ranch - Windhoek:

Arrive at Hosea Kutaku airport where you will meet your guide. Transfer to Windhoek. Spend a few hours in the City (if it is an early flight) and depart to the ranch about 30 km from Windhoek. Arrive for lunch. Check-in and relax until about 15h00. Go on a game/nature drive in open-sided 4x4 vehicles with the local guides from the Ranch. It is 100% guaranteed that you will see a few White rhinos.

Lots of wildlife grace in the bush and on the banks of a dry river where you will get very close to them for information from your guide and to take good pictures. Arrive back at your lodge before sunset and go on a Lion feeding trip. After the Lion feeding ceremony, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Erindi Privat Game Reserve:

Today you are on your way to Erindi, about 140 km from Okapuka. You will arrive before noon to check in at your lodge. The lodge overlooks a dam/waterhole where you will be greeted by the hippos. Other wildlife will be seen here during the day, but especially during the late afternoon and early morning.

After lunch, you will go on a nature/wildlife drive in open 4x4 vehicles with the local guided. You will see elephant, lion, leopard in late afternoon and lots of other wildlife species. Return after a sundowner in the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Okonjima Africat Foundation:

Depart after breakfast to Okonjima, about 100 km from Erindi. Arrive before noon to check in and enjoy lunch. During the afternoon you will again go out in the bush in open 4x4 vehicles with local guides from the ranch. Today you will do cheetah tracking until sunset.

After having seen the cheetah and good pictures in their natural habitat, you will enjoy a sundowner on top of a hill to see the sun set over the savannah bushfeld. Return to your lodge, enjoy dinner, spend some time out at the campfire and overnight.

Day 4: Okonjima Africat Foundation to Waterberg Plateau Park:

Leopard Tracking: Today you will meet your guide at the dining room by about 05h30 in the morning. Enjoy an early coffee and buiscuits and depart in an open 4x4 vehicle with the local guides. They will use tracking devises to find a leopard in the wild while driving through the bush.

You will find a Leopard normally in a tree with its prey which was caught during the night. Spend enough time to take great pictures here. Return to your lodge for a late breakfast by about 10h00. Check out and depart to Waterberg Plateau Park.

Day 5: Waterberg Plateau Park:

Arrive at Waterberg Camp/lodge by about 12h30. Check-in, enjoy lunch, and relax until about 15h00. Go in open 4x4 vehicles with local guides to the top of this beautiful plateau. Drive in different directions to find the Cape Buffalo here. This is the only place in Central Namibia where you can find the Cape Buffalo. If you are lucky, you may see a rhino or two and lots of other wildlife species. Enjoy a sundowner on top of the mountain and return for dinner.

Day 6: Etosha National Park: Namutoni Camp:

Depart via Ojiwarongo, Otavi, and Tsumeb to the park. Make a few stops inbetween and enjoy lunch in Tsumeb - a mining town. Arrive at Namutoni Camp/lodge early afternoon to check in and relax. Go on a game drive to nearby waterholes during the afternoon to see concentrations of wildlife here.

Back in camp by sunset and enjoy dinner. Visit the natural waterhole next to the camp during the evening and night for wildlife viewing.

Day 7: Etosha National Park: Halali Camp/Lodge:

Today you will spend driving through the park and stop at different waterholes along the way to Halali. Arrive at the Lodge by noon and check-in. During the afternoon you will visit a different part of the park and the Etosha Pan (Big white place). Return for dinner and visit the waterhole next to the camp during the evening and night for wildlife viewing.

This is a very popular place to see White and black rhino during the evening. With the waterhole under floodlights, good pictures can be taken here.

Day 8: Okaukeujo Camp/Lodge:

Another day in the park while you are driving towards Okaukeujo Camp. You will again visit another part of the park with different waterholes. Check-in at Okaukeujo by noon. Go on a game drive in the late afternoon for wildlife viewing. Back by sunset for dinner and visit the waterhole next to the camp during the evening and night.

Day 9: Windhoek:

Today you will go on a drive as soon as the gates open. Search for the lion in this area for good early morning photos and return for breakfast at the lodge. Check out and drive via Outjo and Otjiwarongo to Okahandja. Visit the wood carvers industry in Okahandja for articles cut from wood and stone.

Drive to Windhoek to arrive late afternoon to check in at your hotel. Dinner at one of the good restaurants in town and overnight.
