Package Itinerary

Camping: 2 to 8 people per group: The bigger the group, the lower the price per person

Day 1: Arrive in Windhoek

At Hosea Kutaku airport. The guide will meet you and transfer you to your lodge. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city and have dinner with your guide at Joe's Beerhouse.

Day 2: Waterberg Plateau Park

Depart via Okahandja where you visit the wood carvers markets. Arrive at your campsite before noon. Set up camp at the foot of the mountain. After lunch, you will go on an excursion in the Park with open-sided 4x4 vehicles, accompanied by a local guide. See buffalo, rhinos, and many wildlife species at different waterholes on top of the mountain. Enjoy a sundowner and return to your camp after sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Etosha National Park

Do an early morning walking trail up the mountain to see some wildlife. Depart after breakfast to Etosha to arrive by noon. Check-in and set up camp. Visit the waterhole next to the camp for wildlife viewing and go for a swim. Do an afternoon game drive in the park for wildlife viewing: Elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and many other species to be seen for good photos. Return by sunset for dinner and visit the floodlit waterhole to see lots of wildlife during the evening and night.

Day 4: Etosha National Park

Today you will spend the entire day out in the park. Visit different places and waterholes for wildlife viewing.

Day 5: Bushmenland: Tsumkwe

Depart via Tsumeb and Grootfontein to Bushmen Land. Arrive late afternoon and set up camp in the bush. Enjoy the evening around the campfire.

Day 6: Tsumkwe: Bushmenland

Today you will go with a local guide to visit the Bushmen (San People) in their villages. Walk with the Bushmen and find some food in nature which they will share with you. Visit the Nai-Nai pans in this area where you will see wild animals and birds. Return to the village and camp late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Kavango: Camp Ngepi

Today you will travel to Rundu, the capital town of the Kavango region. Drive to Divundu and reach your camp late afternoon on the banks of the Kavango River. Set up camp and enjoy the site and do short walking trails. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Kavango: Camp Ngepi

Today you will visit the Mahango Game reserve for wildlife viewing. You will see hippos, elephants, and wildlife species like the sable, roan, zebra, kudu, springbuck, impala, reedbuck, etc.

Day 9: Botswana Ghanzi

Depart early morning via Shakawe border post into Botswana. Travel to Ghanzi to check in at your lodge early afternoon. Lodge is on a private game reserve. Do a short hiking trail during the afternoon to see Lion, Leopard, Cheetahs, and Wild dogs. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Windhoek

Depart after breakfast to Windhoek. Travel via Gobabis and arrive early afternoon in Windhoek to check in at your guesthouse. Dinner with your guide at Joe's Beerhouse and overnight

Day 11: Depart

Your guide will take you to the airport for departure.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Namibia can be very hot during the day and cool/cold during the night. Light clothes for the day and warm clothes for the night are recommended.

2. Malaria: You will be traveling in Malaria areas in Kavango. Please take precautions.

3. What you need to bring with you: Hat, sunglasses, light clothes, Jacket for evenings, shoes for walking, flashlight for camping, binoculars for wildlife viewing (optional), swimwear during summer months, and Passport.

4. Visa for Botswana can be obtained at the border post. U$ 30 per person.
