Penduka Project Centre
The Penduka Project is a non-profit organization that coordinates women to produce needlework in the underdeveloped rural areas of Namibia. Penduka means "Wake up!" in the Oshiwambo and Herero languages. The center is located at the Goreangab dam on the outskirts of Katutura.
Visit the work- and souvenir shop where a wide variety of embroidered and quilted bedroom furnishings, table linen, handwoven baskets, wall hangings, rucksacks, and bags are displayed and sold.
