Penduka Project Centre

The Penduka Project is a non-profit organisation that coordinates women to produce needlework in the underdeveloped rural areas of Namibia. Penduka means "Wake up!" in the Oshiwambo and Herero languages. The centre is located at the Goreangab dam on the outskirts of Katutura.

The centre is known for its beautiful handmade products—embroidered textiles, batik fabrics, beaded jewelry, home décor items, pottery, and recycled crafts.
