Düsternbrook Guest Farm
Düsternbrook Farm is one of the most popular places to see wildlife close to Windhoek. The Guest Farm with its beautiful old colonial style farmhouse is situated 50kms north-west of Windhoek. It is the oldest establishment of it's kind in Namibia, and is set high on a river bank, that overlooks the unspoilt, breathtaking, surrounding scenery.
Düsternbrook is open year-round, not only for overnight guests but also for day visitors. An attractive, varied, and interesting combination of activities such as leopard and cheetah drives, game drives, walking trails, bird watching, horseriding and scenic mountain drives can be chosen from.
Mountaineering to the "Khomas-Eck" (1,850 m elevation) is a day tour for adventurers in the rough and wildly romantic landscape of the Khomas Highlands.
