You will fly from destination to destination and only do a small part by vehicle.
Day 1: Windhoek
Arrive in Windhoek Hosea Kutako Airport. Your guide will meet you and transfer you to your 4-star hotel in the City. Dinner with your guide to discuss itinerary details.
Day 2: Namib Desert: Sossusvlei
Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the Eros Airport for departure with a chartered plane. Fly over Khomas Hochland and arrive at Sesriem airstrip before noon. You will be met by Lodge management at the airstrip and transferred to your lodge. Check-in, enjoy lunch, and relax. Afternoon visit to the Sesriem Canyon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Swakopmund
Today you will visit the Sossusvlei dunes, the Dead Vlei, and Dune 45. You will depart early morning before it is too hot and spend the morning in Sossusvlei. Return to your lodge by lunchtime. Check out and fly over the desert and coastline South of Walvis Bay to see a few shipwrecks. Arrive in Swakopmund late afternoon. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4: Swakopmund
Today is activity day. There are many activities to do and all are optional. Your hotel will do all the bookings on your behalf and you will be picked up at your hotel for all activities and returned afterward.
Day 5 and 6: Kaokoland: Okahirongo Elephant Lodge
Today you will depart from Swakopmund and fly over the Skeleton Coast to Kaokoland. Arrive at your lodge on the banks of the Huarosib River by noon. You will be met by the lodge management and transferred from the airstrip to the lodge. Check-in, enjoy lunch, and relax. From the lodge, you have a great view over the river and you may spot elephants, giraffes,s and other wildlife strolling past the lodge.
Enjoy a late afternoon sundowner drive to the river, return for dinner, and overnight. On day 6 you will go out into nature and do a nature/Elephant drive down the river. You will visit a village where the Himba people live and your guide will take you through the village to explain their ancient lifestyle and culture.
You will see desert elephants in the river and other wildlife. Lions may also be found in this area. Enjoy your lunch packs under a big tree in the wild and return to your lodge in the afternoon to relax.
Day 7 and 8: Epupa Waterfalls: Kunene River
Today you will fly up North to the Kunene River, the border of Angola. Arrive at your lodge on the banks of the Kunene River before noon. You will be met by lodge management and transferred from the airstrip to the lodge to check in and enjoy lunch. Afternoon at leisure at your lodge a few meters from the river. On day 8 you will do a walking trail with a guide to see the falls from the top of the hill. Visit the surrounding villages and relax at your lodge under Palm trees next to the river.
Day 9 and 10: Etosha National Park
Today you will fly from Epupa to Etosha National Park in Central North Namibia. Arrive at Okaukeujo airstrip by noon. You will be met by the lodge management and transferred to the Camp. Check in, enjoy lunch, and spend the afternoon at the waterhole next to the camp for wildlife viewing. You will stay in a chalet next to the waterhole to view wildlife during the evening and throughout the night from the balcony of your chalet. (Night drive in the park is optional).
On day 10 you will do will go with your guide on a morning drive in the park for about 3 to 4 hours. Visit different waterholes for wildlife viewing to see elephants, rhinos, lions, and many species of antelopes and birds in the park. Back in the camp for lunch and relax. Late afternoon game drive again different waterholes for wildlife viewing and you will return to camp by sunset. Overnight.
Day 11: Windhoek
Today you will depart to Windhoek. Travel by road via Outjo, Otjiwarongo, and Okahandja to Windhoek to arrive by noon. Check-in at your hotel and you will have the afternoon at leisure.
Day 12: Depart: Your guide will take you to the airport for departure
