Northern Namibia, Botswana, and Victoria Falls

This tour will depart from Windhoek through Northern Namibia to Maun in Botswana. From Maun, you go to Moremi National Park for 2 nights camping in the wild. Transfer to Kasane, Chobe National Park, and then to Victoria Falls.

Day 1: Windhoek

Arrive at Hosea Kutako airport where your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in the City. Do a City tour in the afternoon and enjoy dinner with your guide to discuss tour details.

Day 2: Grootfontein - Big Lion Lodge

Depart early morning and travel to Okahandja where you visit the wood carvers industry. Depart to Otjiwarongo and stop for lunch. Drive to Grootfontein where you will arrive late afternoon to check in at your lodge, about 10 km from the town. This is a game ranch where you will see lions, cheetahs, and antelope at the waterhole near your lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tsumkwe - Bushmanland:

Depart after breakfast and travel for the most part on a gravel road to Tsumkwe in Bushmanland. Arrive by lunchtime. Relax and go on a nature drive in the area to the big BAOBAB tree site. Enjoy a sundowner there and return for dinner overnight. Spend some time at the campfire.

Day 4: Tsumkwe - Bushmanland

Today you will leave after breakfast on an open 4x4 vehicle into Bushmanland. Visit the Bushmen families in a village and go on a walk with the Bushmen. This will take about 3 hours and they will show you how to survive from wild plants and fruit which they dig. Enjoy lunch packs under a big tree and depart to the Nai-Nai pans where you will see wildlife and birds at the edge of the pan filled with water. Return early afternoon to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5: Kavango River - Camp Ngepi

Depart early morning to Rundu to arrive by noon. Rundu is the Capital Town of the Kavango region. Enjoy lunch at one of the lodges and visit the street markets which are of the best in Namibia for lots of handmade articles to buy. Depart to Ngepi Camp to arrive late afternoon. Ngepi Camp is on the banks of the Kavango River with lots of Hippos a few meters from your tree houses. You will stay in tree houses, overlooking the river, built on stilts. Enjoy dinner around the campfire where they prepare your meal.

Day 6: Kavango River - Camp Ngepi

Today you will visit the Mahango National Park - only about 20 km from Ngepi. Spend the morning along the Kavango River to see elephants, hippos, giraffes, roan antelopes, sable antelopes, springbok, impala, kudu, and more. Return to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure for a sundowner boat trip on the river. This is optional.

Day 7: Botswana - Maun

Depart to Botswana and travel to Maun. You will arrive in Maun by about 14h00 for a late lunch at your lodge - on the banks of the Thalamkani River. Beautiful area and enjoy the hospitality of the Botswana people during the evening.

Day 8: Today our Botswana team will take over to continue the tour with you up till the end.

MOREMI NATIONAL PARK: Camp Smx (Boga site) near Xakanaxa

Travel from Maun to Moremi where you will enter the park after about 2 hours drive at the South Gate of the Park. Arrive in the bush where your guides will set up camp for 2 nights. Do an afternoon drive in your 4x4 vehicle for wildlife viewing and birding. Return to your camp by sunset for an African Bush Dinner and overnight. Shower and toilet facilities are available at camp.

Day 9: Moremi National Park

You will be out in the park for the entire day, doing wildlife viewing to see lions, leopards, elephants, and many species of antelopes and birds. You will enjoy lunch out in the bush and return to camp by sunset after an exciting adventure, traveling through the park, small rivers, and savannah. Relax after a nice shower and enjoy a dinner cooked to perfection.

Day 10: Moremi to Maun

Today you will do game drives up till lunchtime. Enjoy lunch in the wild and travel to Maun to arrive late afternoon to check in at your luxury lodge on the banks of the Talamakani River. Dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Kasane: Chobe National Park

Today you will be transferred from Maun to Kasane - Chobe Safari Lodge. You will drive via Nata. En route, you will visit Planet Boabab and the bird sanctuary near Nata at the Magadigadi Pans where you will see thousands of birds. Arrive in Kasane late afternoon to check in at your luxury lodge on the banks of the Chobe River. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Kasane: Chobe National Park

You will spend the day out in Chobe National Park, doing game drives along the Chobe River to see hundreds of elephants, hippos, and many species of antelopes and birds. Lions and other wild cat species are often seen near the river. Back at your lodge late afternoon to relax, enjoy dinner, and overnight.

Day 13: Zambia: Victoria Falls:

Today you will be transferred to Livingstone. Cross the Zambezi River with a ferry and arrive in Livingstone at the Zambezi Sun Hotel before noon. Check-in, enjoy lunch, and visit the falls. The falls are within walking distance from your hotel which is in the park. You will see some wildlife around the hotel.

Do the rainforest walk on the edge of the falls to different viewpoints for great pictures of this world wonder. After having visited the falls, you can do many other activities i.e. helicopter flight over the falls, walking with the lions, elephant riding, boat trip to Livingstone Island, etc. All activities are optional and for your own account. The visit to the falls is free of charge, included in your hotel price. Enjoy a sundowner at your hotel which overlooks the falls, dinner, and overnight.

Day 14: Departure

You will be transferred to the airport for departure.

2. Accommodation: 3-star lodges and luxury tents in Moremi Smox camp (Boa site)

3. Meals: Full board basis except for Victoria Falls where it is on a bed and breakfast basis only.

4. Park entrance fees

5. Cold bottled water during traveling hours only.

6. Windhoek City tour, Bushmen excursion, visit to Meteorite, Mahango National Park game drives, camping and game drives in Moremi, Game drives in Chobe National Park, and visits to Victoria Falls.

Excluded From the Price is the Following:

1. All drinks

2. All insurance on luggage and valuables

3. Any deviation from the agreed itinerary on request of guests

4. All activities not included in the above, which may be offered by parks/hotels/lodges
